Horizon Heritage is a new consultancy focused on a low-impact, low-cost approach to suit the clients' needs.
We focus on soils and sediment analysis across landscapes to understand the context and impacts of future works on subsurface deposits and their potential to contain cultural objects.
Our Services
We offer a niche methodology for heritage works, specialising in geoarchaeology, that uses true and tried geological methods within an archaeological framework.
By viewing projects in this light, the expensive fieldwork component to excavations are heavily reduced. The completed reports can be used to decide on the next stages for projects and if further works are viable.
